Please join us for a Volunteer Open House on Thursday, May 16th. Members of the Cincinnati Steering Committee and HRC staff will be in attendance to share upcoming volunteer activities and leadership opportunities for those looking to step up and join HRC in the fight for equality.
Cincinnati's HRC’s Workplace Equality Committee is pleased to invite you to join us for a free night of networking, learning, and fun! Our focus is to have as many meaningful conversations on the topics of establishing, growing and utilizing Employee Resource Groups and their benefits to the fullest.
Do you love fashion? Do you consider yourself stylish? Do you believe in equality for all? If you answered yes...we need you! We are looking for volunteers of all shapes, sizes, ages, ethnicities, sexual orientations and gender identities to join us at Confessions on the Runway!
The show is April 13th and we will be looking for Models on March 9th at 6p. We will be gathering photos and measurements at this event so we can have the clothing ready for you at the show.
Come enjoy a free breakfast with Aftab Pureval our Hamilton County Clerk Of Courts who is running for OH-1 and the President of thee Human Rights Campaign Chad Griffin. Participate, ask questions and meet two amazing human beings. The event is free.
The training is at 1-2:30 PM followed by a 3:00 PM canvass. Ben Ray Luján is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for New Mexico's 3rd congressional district since 2009. The district is based in Santa Fe, the state capital, and includes most of the northern portion of the state.
In a cabaret-style format, "She's Crazy" (Mental Health and Other Myths) tackles the serious subject of mental illness using humor, original songs, stories, and audience interaction. Doors will open at 7:00PM and show will begin at 7:30PM.
All proceeds will be shared 50/50 from contributions at the door and tickets between GLAST and "She's Crazy" production team. Buckets will be available at the event for additional contributions directly to GLAST (Gays & Lesbians Achieving Sobriety Together) and the “She’s Crazy” production team. We will have volunteers doing split the pot as well. Stephanie Schraer, MSW, and Co-Founder of GLAST will be available to provide a safe space for anyone feeling uncomfortable who would like to talk to a mental health professional during the show and will be a part of the interactive panel discussion following the event with the members of the cast. There will be a discussion panel will be facilitated by Andrew Bare, Director of Operations, GLAST.
